Gunpowder Overview

Gunpowder is on a mission to revolutionize the way games are played, developed, and promoted. The Gunpowder gaming platform acts as a central hub for gamers, game developers, and gaming creators to connect, grow, and profit together.

For Gamers

Gamers of all levels can earn an income by wagering on their 1v1 matches with friends across a diverse selection of games, including popular titles (e.g., FIFA, Call of Duty, Rocket League), innovative takes on classic arcade games, and new indie games across web2 and web3.

You can also participate in free and entry-fee tournaments for cash prizes, whether competing 1v1 in bracket tournaments or climbing a leaderboard with the most wins or highest scores.

Gaming is inherently social, and you can connect with other Gunpowder gamers through the global chat or our community Discord. Additionally, you'll soon be able to create your own gaming-specific social network and build your personal brand on Gunpowder Hub, launching in Q3 2024.

For Game Developers

Developing and launching a new game comes with numerous challenges. Not only do you need to craft an exceptional experience for your target players, but you also need to market and monetize the game effectively.

Monetization

We partner directly with you to integrate monetization features into your game, such as PvP wagering and paid tournaments, to naturally generate revenue. Say goodbye to intrusive ads, in-game upsells, and pay-to-play gimmicks. Players will appreciate a fair way to earn based on their skills rather than feeling exploited just to play. This also leads to higher engagement as they build a community of friends and rivals and return for more matches.

Marketing

We understand that new games often struggle with marketing and discoverability. To address this, we'll connect you with gaming streamers and influencers (aka Creators) who have a proven track record and transparent profiles on the Gunpowder Hub. Think of it as an Upwork marketplace for game developers to find their ideal gaming influencers.

Beyond connecting you with these promoters, we’ll also promote your game ourselves. Your game will be prominently featured on the Gunpowder platform, including an initial marketing campaign to announce our partnership and share your game with the Gunpowder audience of paying gamers through social media posts, emails, blog articles, and live AMAs.

For Gaming Content Creators

Gaming content creators, whether they are key opinion leaders (KOLs), influencers, streamers, or ambassadors, often lack a reliable way to earn money while growing a gaming community authentically, without relying on disconnected ads and promotions.

Subscriptions

Gunpowder Creators will have SocialFi profiles on the Gunpowder Hub. Here, Creators can engage with their gaming friends and fans through posts, comments, and reactions, similar to other social media platforms. Creators can also host exclusive events like tournaments, matches, and gaming workshops using our easy-to-use platform features.

When you launch your Creator profile, you’ll also enable your fans and other Gunpowder gamers to purchase a monthly subscription or Gunpowder Card lifetime access pass.

So, what’s in it for your paying subscribers?

Only your subscribers will have access to your private events, giving them the chance to game with you while growing their own personal brand/community by associating with yours. (Additionally, they can earn by winning the matches and tournaments you host.)

While anyone can view your public posts, only subscribers can interact with you (e.g., react, comment, repost). You can choose to make posts private when you want to offer exclusive content.

Importantly, your subscribers also share in your earnings from the platform, including winning wagers, tournaments, etc. You can determine the percentage you want to share based on your growth and earning goals.

Gunpowder Cards

Instead of a monthly subscription, fans can alternatively purchase tradable Gunpowder Cards for lifetime access (as long as they hold the card).

Each time a Gunpowder Card is purchased, its value increases, making it an appreciating asset as your popularity grows. Speculators can buy and sell these cards at any time for a profit, as we manage the liquidity pool so traders never need to wait for a buyer or seller.

Get Sponsored

You don’t need to dominate an esports league to get sponsored. On Gunpowder, you have the opportunity to strike deals with new games you genuinely enjoy playing and sharing. As a Gunpowder Creator, you can leverage both your following and position on the platform to get paid to:

• Stream gameplay and create content for Gunpowder partner games

• Host sponsored tournaments and matches

In addition to sponsorships, you can earn an income by hosting your own tournaments and matches for an entry fee. Or, you can compete yourself in wagers and tournaments to win prizes.
